Think Positive And Forget Negatives

Everyone has faced some negative experiences. Whether of greater or lesser import, people generally like to dwell on these negative experiences. Once this becomes a habit, it has become a negative effect. Then unpleasant experiences become a part of your active memory, until it becomes a jungle of negativity. So it is best to forget these kinds of sad events.....bitter thoughts, memories, anger just weighs us down. And the more we think about them, the stronger the feelings get and we remain grounded. One bad thought leads to another and soon we are completely depressed. And longer we hold those negative memories more they sap our energy, our happiness.
“Holding on to anger is like grasping a hot coal with the intent of throwing it at someone else; you are the one who gets burned”.~Bhagvan Buddha
Today our government controlled media is making sure no one forgets 9/11... Well rest assure. Anyone that saw the live news feeds will forever recall that day, what they were doing the very moment when they heard the news and how they felt knowing their beloved Nation was under attack. The events of that day was has forever altered our society, our way of thinking and our day to day actions. That is a major problem! Al Qaeda only poses a meaningful threat to our way of life if we give in to our fear and change it ourselves. _________________________________________________________________________ As frightening as the specter of terrorism undoubtedly is, there is no danger that terrorists will ever seize control of our cities or our government. There is no likelihood that terrorists will kill as many Americans next year as drunk drivers, heart disease or depression.
