Presidental Bus Service!

Come on... Gather around and find out where your hard earn tax dollars have been spent now.

   Obama has not one but two tricked out super buses! The cost to us taxpayers...a mere 2.2 million dollars. Before you say anything, just Calm down! Obama said that he 'really-really' needed these new buses. So I can only assume Obama now wants us to look at this set of vehicles, that were commissioned by the Secret Service-by his order, as an investment in America.



  Really!...I would do the math on this "Wonderful Package" but I would end up getting fighting mad when I came to terms with how our tax dollars have been wasted on some stupid Bling project!


 I really wish I could spend money and NOT have to worry about where the money is coming from or that I might have to pay off the debt later. If you recall...Obama just a very short time ago was saying we might NOT be able to pay the bills. Meaning that the Elderly, disable and our hard working Military personal might not get paid. I can't help but think that just maybe if Obama and our Federal Government would stop these "important" projects that there might be more than enough money floating around to "Pay the bills".

What did our 2.2 Million tax dollars really get us?

      While White House Officials have declined to disclose the exact specifications of how our tax dollars were spent on this bus, we do know it is a presidential vehicle.  So normally these all presidental vehicles have extra thick reinforced doors, bullet-proof glass and tough enough to withstand a rocket-propelled grenade and of course a chemical attack.Not only that but these super buses were painted a shiny black,and we know they are loaded down with the lastest secret communications technology currently on the market.Also they are both decked out with those neat flashing police-style red and blue lights (front and back!). Oh and how could I almost forget... Have you seen those custom mags wheels yet? 

   Odd fact:  This new Custom bus will now be flown around the world in huge US cargo airplane, and will appear wherever Obama does. Does that really sound like a good use of our hard earned Tax dollars? Just the fuel cost alone would make most snub this idea, but not Obama. He wants to look good!

Warren Buffett is not an elected official,but I would vote for him!

Warren Buffett...

    Warren Buffett is amazingly rich, super smart and shockingly honest. That is why alot of people, including myself really embrace his views on life, business, and government.  His Federal Tax idea would help to correct the problems the Government seems is having with money, and the good news is... This plan if applied, will have a long lasting effect on our economy. Which is what the US really needs right now if we are to regain our AAA Credit Rating.
  

Warren Buffett's master plan is quite simple and would not cause any harm the common taxpayer one bit... His idea is to Tax him MORE! Not just him mind you, but everyone else that is in his super elite Tax Bracket.

Should the super rich have the smallest percent of tax burden?

  Mr. Buffett openly expresses the fact that he feels the super rich don't currently pay enough taxes. After looking at the facts, I have to agree with him. Last year his recorded federal tax burden was a super low 17.4%. Which totaled a mere $6,938,744.
 
  Mr. Buffett ask 20 people that were working in his offce last year about their tax burden and their collected average was a whopping 36% tax. So why is the Super Rich paying a smaller percentage of taxes than the hard working public? Well people like Warren Buffet are able to earn most of their Wealth thru capital gains and dividends, those investments are taxed at a much lower rate than your wages. Here is why; Long-term capital gains and dividends are currently taxed at 15% -- well below the 35% top income tax rate! So shockingly - Your pay the Government to Work!

What about adding taxes on capital gains and dividends? If our Government was to raised that amount to 20% for individuals making more than $200,000 (and couples making more than $250,000) that could raise roughly $107 billion over a decade, the Treasury Department estimated last year.

Evil Electronic Bingo Machines!

 Electronic Bingo



   I feel the reason we don't have Electronic Bingo in Alabama is because of an ex-Governor, Bob Riley. Because of him, the State of Alabama has not been able to pass an electronic bingo bill, but we almost did!

 I don't know if you have been keeping up with this or not, but those bingo hall raids started at about the same time a Mississippi Choctaw casino was laying off some employees. Odd timing, or did that Casino owner realize that the electronic Bingo halls in Alabama was starting to ruin his casino profits. So I assume he realized that something had to be done. So action had to be taken!

 That action ended up being in the form of Alabama Gov. Bob Riley. Quite frankly, I feel that Mr. Riley decided that selling out the very people that elected him was the best course of action,for what I can only assume is his wallet.  Why else would he have mounted such a strong campaign to shut down all the electronic bingo halls in Alabama? Alabma people didn't want those Bingo halls shut down. They were happy working, making good money and the ones playing were even more joyful with these places. Another thing- there was Alabama Tax dollars being collected at a pretty steady rate. So to me it makes no sense to shut them down unless your making  bigger profits somewhere else.



 Alabama Takes action to Pass a Bingo Bill

Now...What added insult to injury was when it looked like the Alabama Legislators were going to be able to pass an Electronic Bingo Bill. That would make these bingo halls legal and stop Riley's task force dead in its tracks. So when Bob Riley got scared that he was going to have egg onhis face, he called in the Federal Government to stop the whole legal process around the Bingo bill.
  Which I personally think Mr. Riley's comments to the Government were based on half-truths and flat out lies, but it was enough to stop the Electronic Bingo Bill from being able to pass.
 

 That phone call was enough to caused certain people to be arrested. So they were put on trial and force them to defend themselves. I personally feel they were honestly working hard to provide the people of Alabama with what we wanted. I was happy to see that our Federal Government failed to convict any of them. I really hope this case dies off now and we can focus on other problems within this state.





Casino Bus Ride

 How many of you ride the Buses provided so you can have a cheap, yet safe ride to the Casino's in another state?
  I asked about it today and found out that here in the Gadsden area there is at least 10 bus that will be rolling out of this area today at different times. (That does NOT include the buses that park outside of this general area.)

  When I checked on the prices, they were supper low. Some even offer free buffet's, gane credits or other "gifts" for the ones that ride often. Now if you are a first time rider, well you get bonus perks for riding with them to the casino... WooooHooooo!
  Hold -on-Here is the thing. These casino's are raking in our hard earned money hand over fist! That is why they are sending bus after bus to this area. It has to be very profitable for them to do so. That should tell you something, since fuel cost is close to $4 a gallon and they are still making a profit. So Yea, there is alot of money to be made in a Casino's or E-bingo halls...



We REALLY Need a People's Vote!

  I think Mr. Riley realized that if the people of this state was allowed to vote on this subject matter. Alabama would have electronic bingo and that would ruin Bob Riley's bank account! I don't for one minute think it had to do with religion, since alot of paper bingo halls have some Christian group that either run, supported or gets some of the charitable monies paid out by that Bingo Hall.
 
We all know that the paper Bingo Halls are suppose to,by law pay out a percentage to charities . Some of these Bingo halls pay out just enough to be legal the rest is retained as profits for the Bingo Hall owner. But if you throw in the Church Card here in Alabama it that happens to be just as powerful as the race card. People will rally together to prove they are Good Christians and Hate those Damn Evil E-Bingo machines...

I am not even sure what pisses me off the most. It is either the amount of Alabama State Trooper man hours wasted on Bingo Raids when they should of been on the Highways of this state or the huge bill the Alabama tax payers are being stuck with when the dust settles!  We have Truck rentals, State Troopers pay, fuel cost for their cars, and I am sure we racked up some major legal fee-even thou the Federal Government was the one that took them to court in the end. Which is wasted Federal Tax! So we got billed once again.

 I get so pissed off with see our tax dollars wasted time and time again over stupid things. The people of Alabama should of had a right to vote on this matter. All this wasted money, resources, and state employees time could of been saved by allowing a people's vote.

Obama's thinks your an idiot

Obama's Hateful Words
 Obama gave another hateful speech eariler this afternoon...in this one he basicly bashed Congress for the problems with the economy. I am sorry... I do realize that Congress played a role but, I just keep drawing focus to that damn failed Bail-out plan, the housing market crash along with a couple other misguided programs all of which Obama pushed for. The ripple effect of all of this has in turn crashed the stock market, lowered our Credit rating and caused a Global Panic.
 

Obama likes to brag

 I seem to recall Obama boasting how good it was and how hard he worked to make it happen and all the good it would do this great nation ...Which for some reason everytime anything good occurs-Obama just loves to boast and brag about himself . Yet when something fails or goes wrong Obama never seems to take any of the blame...
  
   I might need to dig thru the few books without pictures that I have read over the years, but if I recall properly it was 'Freedom: Credos from the Road' by Ralph Hubert "Sonny" Barger. I wish I could quote it word for word, but the drift was -If you made a mistake - tell your friends you did make that mistake. They will respect you alot more than if you act like a know it all!  Maybe Mr. Barger will be kind enough to send Obama an autographed copy of that book!

Obama's thinks your an idiot

 After watching Obama's speech today I have come to realize that he thinks the american people are just total idiots.
    First off I have Nothing against Ford products. Anyone that knows me - knows I have owned my fair share of Ford trucks over the years. A few Ford Muscle cars and well, my first car was a nasty green two door 1969 Ford Falcon!
    Obama made an odd comment about how the Koren people need to be driving Fords. Most foriegn cars that we are driving here are not as foriegn as one might be lead to believe. and-Most American cars are NOT as american as most might think!

   Here is why I made that statement; I used to drive an 18 wheeler, during that time  on the road I hauled alot of car parts across this nation. I would be sent down to the Mexican Border to snag axles for a Ford plant, those axles were made in Mexico and then hauled across the border. Other times I would pick up engines and transmission from Cali. that I then would take to a GM plant up north and sometimes I would pick up engines/transmissions for Dodge plants.

   My point is while their name sake is American, most of the parts that make up these "American" cars are coming from across our nations borders. So we are a global market. Obama should NOT be bashing the Global market place, but instead be should helping to correct the problems here in our nation.

 Alabama the Great!

 Here in Alabama - we have hard working men and women gainfully employed at what Obama is calling a foriegn car plant. These Car Assembly Plants are located in Alabama... Last I checked the Civil war is over! So, Mr. Obama ,Alabama is no longer a Foriegn Country, we are part of  the good old USA once again and have been so for many years.
  

Here is the thing. I have hauled parts for Honda in Licoln,Al picked up their supplies in KY, I also hauled freight for the Mercedes plant in Vance, Al. Did you know at that time their  bumpers were being make in Huntsville, Al..(Dont know if they still are-they were talking about moving closer to Vance).
  From what I have seen, some of these so called Foriegn cars are more american than any of the ones we are currently calling American Cars. An American car to me is one built in America with mostly parts made in the Good old USA!
  
 Yea-Yea, I do realize the "owners" are based in a foriegn country but lets be real. We need decent paying job and good affordable automobiles, that provide all the things we want and need in a New car. Since I live in Alabama I am more focused on the automobile assembly plants that are employing my Alabama neighbors, than the Car Plants up north or across the ocean.

 
 Dont get me wrong. I am all for buying American, but what is more American. A car with 70% of the parts/labor built in America but has Foriegn car name or a car with an American name but only has 40% of the parts/labor done by American workers. Our Society seems to be a bit fuzzy on what really is made in America. Hell maybe I need to rethink some of my views on this subject.


We don't need extra taxes!

  Once again Obama is trying to rally the American people with his speech today. He is trying to con us into getting our Congress people to slap some extra taxes to big business.
    I wish everyone would take a second to think about that-I mean really think. Any extra taxes tagged onto the cost of doing business will be directly carried over to the consumer by that business. So this tax idea needs to be stopped dead in its tracks. Unless you want to pay more at the store for products you currently buy.
 
 Hey Obama! We dont need extra taxes. We don't need your forced Healthcare plan your so proud of. What America needs is Jobs! What can we build that the Gobal market will want and be willing to buy? Right now we are to much of a retail nation.
            When did we toss the idea of an honest days pay for an honest days work to the side?

Stock Market for Dummies.

I don't invest my money in the Stock Market...

I have never really understood how the stock market works. But...If I am correct; You are suppose to invest your hard earned money, semi-blindly into a company you have never been to, only heard about- all in hopes of making a huge profits over time.

 

Would it not be better to just drive to a nice casino and play the slot machines? I mean at least at a Casino I get free drinks,get to see pretty lights and listen to cool background noise, while I am trying to strike it rich.

  

  In case you haven't already noticed. I don't invest my money in the stock market. The main reason is because I have no control over it once I invest, well other than to buy or sell. Now if I could determine how the company is run and where the profits are placed...Yea! I would give the Stock Market a shot. But currently my view is "If I buy something, I should have it in hand when I pay for it." 

 

  Maybe if more American People invested their money wisely our nation would NOT be in the shape it is today. Only spend your money on items that retain their value or that you really need.

 

 

  Investing made Simple!

Why are so many people more willing to invest in the Stock market than in themselves? Do they not believe in themselves or is it because of  Government Brainwashing? Must be brainwashing. We are led to believe that the best place to invest our hard earned money is in the stock market. All those late night TV ads, online ads/website, and of course the media is always talking about how great the Stock Market. Well it was until it crashed a few days ago.

  

    Here is a great tip; If you really want to invest in something. Invest in yourself! Learn a trade, get a degree, then get a job. The main thing is to learn marketable job skills. The more skills you have, the more dependable you prove that are, the less likely you will be unemployed. But even then it could occur, but being able to work in different fields - will gives you more choices of employment. So the downtime between Job should be less than less educated people.

 

   My next investment tip; Buy some land and a house! Land is in limited supply. Sure-sure there is always land for sale , but they ain't making anymore of it!  If enough people realize that Land is such a great investment. I fear land prices will go back up quickly. Even as we are only part-way thru the recovery process of the housing market crash...

 

 

Odd isnt it? Every single Market group our Federal Government has "Helped" has crashed due to poor money management.

Paycheck to Paycheck!

The typical american family is currently living paycheck to paycheck and doesn’t have much in the lines of savings to fall back on.  So if someone in the family gets sick and cant work, they will not have the money to pay their monthly bills. Getting sick is just one of many worries a normal amercian family has today...another major concern is; What if the family car was to break down and they had to spend $1,000 on parts to fix it? That would put them into a tight spot too.  Do they buy the parts, so they can fix their car, so they will be able to go to work or should they buy food, pay rent and/or pay for their other needs?  
                               
                      Quite frankly. American's has no savings…just credit cards!

   Our Federal Government is currently operating in the same manner. Paycheck to Paycheck! Borrowing on credit and racking up the debt. There are ways to correct this. We the voting public needs to vote for people that are more in tune with us the American people. People that have a firm grasp on what made America great and will work for a better tomorrow.... because I feel America can be made Great once again! But it will take some work to undo the damage.
    I personally think we need to reduce careless spending, stop fighting wars we can't win, but my all time favorite; cut salaries to those those overpaid Elected Officals that have caused this mess.

 
                                                   Let's just tax Big Business!
  .  Obama calmly asking "Big Business" to pay higher taxes is the same as raising taxes on the lower and middle class, because they are the ones that buy products produced by big business. Simply put, any taxes added to companies is directly carried over to the product. So if we put a $.10 tax on a gallon of milk, milk companies will have to raise the cost of milk at least 10 cent to cover cost. Then if they have to do more paperwork or pay filing fee the final cost might go up a penny or two more to cover their operating cost. So in the end any "TAX" on business' is a tax put on the American people.
  I do NOT want to see our elderly and disabled to be hit with this tax. Just the fact Obama told them they need to chip in and buckle down when they have to scrap the bottom of the barrel every month just to survive is an outrage! Obama has no idea what it is like to live when you only have a limited monthly income.

  Please try to remember all the Chaos caused by Obama during his term. Failed Bail out plan, Debt Ceiling Debate that not only damaged the US Economy, but the Global Marketplace and of course that Damn Healthcare Bill when you vote in 2012!

Second recession? I didn’t know the first one ended.

   I must confess, I'm not really sure what the point of this Blog is. We all know how bad our financial problems are.
  
   Explaining it as Simple as I can - Our Federal Government is Broken and they have spent our money unwisely!  Our Federal Government has been paying out more than it has been taken in for quite some time. Then our Federal Government took out Mega Loans in hopes of being able to 'Jump Start' the economy, and well...quite frankly that Bail-out plan of Obama's totally failed. Which is bad enough in its own right! Now that money is all spent, carelessly wasted and a we are left holding the tab!
  Then after all that bail out money was spent and gone, we dont have enough money on hand to pay our nations bills. So we have to rush to raise the debt ceiling. Well that questionable Debt Ceiling bill almost came down to the last minute before the Federal Government quit acting childish long enough to pass a stop gap bill. So because of that Pony Show, along with a weak global economy, our nation got knocked down a peg on our Credit Rating. Which I personally think is fair...but that will be another blog-maybe.
 

 Our problem today is that one little notch down on the credit scale has set off a Stock-Selling Panic. Not just our stock market mind you, but since we are tied to the hip to the world's economy...it set off a ripple effect worldwide! People are in a panic.  Hell, I started to Panic when I realize Obama won. I honestly thought our Federal Government would NOT allow that cursed Healthcare or that crazy Bail out Plan to pass.So yea,  I have been Shocked over and over again during the last two and a half years Obama has been in office.

  These programs were NOT  what the American people needed. Okay yea-I do realize that alot of people chanted mindlessly that they wanted these programs, but most of those that wanted it, have no idea that in the end their children or grandchildren will be paying our bill. They really think the Federal Government is paying for things. They really don't seem to understand that the Government is spending tax money and running up a tab on our credit (Debt), which is our money-Plain and Simple!

  Just today I overheard an eldery gentleman say " the total collapse of the economy within the next couple of months-be ready"

  His words sorta made me wonder. Am I really ready? Should I load up on can goods? Gather enough seeds for a big garden, stock up on ammo, water and fuel? Has America got to that point?  If not today...I fear if Obama is allowed a second term. It will get that bad and then worse!
